花びらが宙に浮いた
Petals float in the air,
舞った一足のサンダル
Like a pair of sandals, dancing
身体ごと宙に浮いて
If I could just rise up
飛んでしまえたら私は
And take flight, then I'd be...

Fluttering, fluttering about
一人で踊ってるだけ
Dancing here by myself,

春先の空気が澄んでいたから
The weather at the start of spring has become nice and clear,
赤いサンダルを履いて
And so I put on these red sandals
出かけた先のあの並木のことは
This place I've come to is that of row of trees
あなたから聞いていた
I first heard about from you
桜が並ぶらしい
The place where sakura trees line the path
顔を伏せるように
I couldn't stand the way
歩く人が多いから嫌になって
So many people walked by with their faces down,
そしたら飛んでいた桜が
Not to mention how the rain of sakura petals
切に愉快に見えたから
was such a happy sight
この道で踊ってやろうと思った
And so I thought "I'll dance for them"

足を運ぶ
I lift my feet

音を鳴らす
Playing forth a sound

春を踊るのさ
I'll dance the dance of spring,
桜の下で
beneath the sakura trees
