Japan-U.S. trade negotiations welcome voices from corn-producing Midwestern U.S.

Prime Minister Abe and U.S. President Trump have reached a de facto general agreement on trade negotiations between Japan and the United States, and confirmed that they will aim to sign the agreement at the summit meeting to be held in conjunction with the United Nations General Assembly next month.
