The fire in a private house in Tennessee, New Tazewell occurred on the 8th of this month.
The parents had their three children eat supper and went to bed around 8:30 pm.
Several hours after that, the mom, Mrs. Nicole Davidson, woke up at the smell of smoke.
The house was covered in fire instantly and the 1 year and 10 months old baby sleeping in her crib, Erin, was left in her bedroom.
Chris, the father, told CNN in an interview that, ”I went around in front of my daughter’s room from the outside, but she couldn’t be reached from the window.
From there I held Eli up so he could climb through the window and help her out.”
By the time 20 fire fighters arrived, the entire house was engulfed in flames.
By the end of the next day, the house had been burned down without a trace left.
