Microsoft approves $60 billion share buyback
米マクロソフト(MSFT.O)は１６日、最大６００億ドルの新たな自社株買いプログラムが取締役会で承認されたと発表した
Microsoft (MSFT.O) announced on the 16th that its board of directors has approved a new stock repurchase program worth up to $60 billion.
The company also announced a quarterly dividend of $0.83 per share.
Dividend increase of $0.08 (10%) compared to the previous fiscal year
It was also announced that the annual general meeting of shareholders will be held on December 10th.
Big tech companies are under pressure from shareholders to see results from their massive investments in artificial intelligence (AI), but Microsoft is one of the few companies to show that AI investments are contributing to profits.
