Yoshinoya HD closes up to 150 stores due to deficit
牛丼チェーンの吉野家などを展開する吉野家ホールディングスは、今年３月から５月までの連結決算で、最終損益は４０億円の赤字となりました
Yoshinoya Holdings Co., Ltd., which develops Yoshinoya of the beef bowl chain, recorded a net loss of 4 billion yen due to consolidated financial statements from March to May this year.
This is because the store was closed and business hours were shortened.
Due to the deterioration in business performance, Yoshinoya Holdings decided to close up to 150 stores out of approximately 3,300 stores such as ”Yoshinoya” and ”Hanamaru Udon” in Japan and overseas by the end of this year.
In addition, the board of directors decided to reduce executive compensation for the half year from September of this year.
Yoshinoya Holdings says it wants to recover sales by expanding takeout products and increasing the number of stores that support delivery.
