Accidents of food getting stuck in children’s throats continue
According to the Consumer Affairs Agency, 70% of children who died were under the age of two.

According to doctor Tatsuhiro Yamanaka, when there is food in the mouth, children may cry or make noises and suck the food in with their breath.
しかし、のどに詰まったことが、周りの人にはすぐわからない場合があります
However, people around you may not immediately know that something is stuck in your throat.
Mr. Yamanaka says, ”If your child stops crying or their face becomes pale while they are eating, please think that they might have something stuck in their throat.”
子どもが「遊びながら食べないこと」、「食べ物を口に入れたまま話をしないこと」が大事です
It is important that children ”do not eat while playing” and ”do not talk with food in their mouth”.
People around you should not surprise your child when they are eating.
