Around 5:20 am on the 2nd, another climber called 110 that two men slipped between the 7th and 8th stations of Daisen in Tottori prefecture.
The two were men from Soja City, Okayama Prefecture, and Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture, and were found in a valley called Gyojadani. About two hours after the report, they were rescued by helicopter and taken to a hospital in Yonago City. Death was confirmed for both people
Oyama had not opened yet, and the weather was fine at that time, but there was about 50 to 60 cm of snow left on the mountain trail, and it was in an ice-burned state.
The police are calling for a mountain climbing notification and sufficient equipment when climbing a winter mountain.
