The highly fan-anticipated “Ghibli Park” opens in Aichi Prefecture
スタジオジブリのアニメ映画をテーマにした「ジブリパーク」が１日、愛知県の「愛・地球博記念公園（モリコロパーク）」内にオープンしました
“Ghibli Park,” themed around the animated films produced by Studio Ghibli, opened on the 1st in Aichi Prefecture’s Aichi Commemorative Park (Moricoro Park).
パークは数年前に構想が発表され、２０２０年に着工していました
The plan for the park was announced a few years ago, and construction began in 2020.
Plans for the 7.1 hectare area include the development of 5 areas; 3 have opened, including the “Ghibli Warehouse,” in which famous towns and scenes from the Ghibli movies are recreated indoors, the “Hill of Youth,” where you can experience the world of movies like Whisper of the Heart, and “Dondoko Forest,” where the house in My Neighbor Totoro and a Totoro-themed playground have been installed.
残る２つのエリアは、「もののけ姫」がテーマの「もののけの里」と、「ハウルの動く城」「魔女の宅急便」の場面を取り入れた「魔女の谷」で、来年以降に開業する予定です
The remaining two areas, a Princess Mononoke-themed “Mononoke Village” and a “Witch’s Valley” with scenes taken from Howl’s Moving Castle and Kiki’s Deliver Service, are scheduled to open sometime after next year.
