In the United States, where mass shootings are occurring one after another, an opinion poll was announced that nearly 30% of people think that the mass shootings are a so-called ”necessary evil”, saying that ”mass shooting must be accepted in a free society”.
According to a poll on gun control conducted by CBS News and others from June 1st to 3rd, 72% of all respondents answered that the mass shootings can be prevented by making efforts, but the rest 28% said, ”Unfortunately, this is an event that must be accepted in a free society.”
In addition, 46% of conservative Republican supporters said, ”To make the United States safer, many or all people need to have guns,” and a certain number had negative opinions about gun control.
According to CNN, there were 13 mass shootings all over the United States last weekend, killing and injuring more than 80 people.
