米海洋大気局べいかいようたいききょく（ＮＯＡＡ）宇宙天気予報うちゅうてんきよほうセンターは、現在げんざいの太陽活動周期たいようかつどうしゅうきで最強さいきょうの太陽たいようフレアを米国時間べいこくじかんの１４日じゅうよっかに観測かんそくしたと発表はっぴょうしました

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Space Weather Prediction Center announced that the strongest solar flare of the current solar cycle was observed on the 14th (US time).

今回こんかいの太陽たいようフレアは「Ｘクラス」と呼よばれる最もっとも強つよい分類ぶんるいで「Ｘ８．７」を観測かんそく

This solar flare was observed as ”X8.7”, the strongest classification called ”X class”

先さきの週末しゅうまつにかけて磁気嵐じきあらしを引ひき起おこし、世界各地せかいかくちでオーロラを発生はっせいさせた太陽たいようフレアと同おなじ場所ばしょから放出ほうしゅつされました

It was emitted from the same location as the solar flare that caused a geomagnetic storm and produced aurora borealis around the world over the weekend.

この磁気嵐じきあらしは２００３年以来ねんいらいで最もっとも激はげしかりました

This geomagnetic storm was the most intense since 2003.
