Cannes Film Festival: Studio Ghibli receives Prestigious Palme d’Or Award

フランスのカンヌ映画祭えいがさいで20日はつか、日本にっぽんのスタジオジブリが「名誉めいよパルムドール」をもらいました

At the Cannes Film Festival in France, Japan’s Studio Ghibli received the prestigious Palme d’Or award.

「名誉めいよパルムドール」は、映画えいがの世界せかいですばらしい活躍かつやくをした監督かんとくや俳優はいゆうなどがもらう賞しょうです

The Palme d’Or is an award given to people such as directors and actors who have done magnificent work in the film world.

宮崎みやざき吾朗ごろう監督かんとくなどが式しきに出席しゅっせきして、トロフィーをもらいました

Director Gorou Miyazaki and others attended the ceremony and received the trophy.

会場かいじょうでは多おおくの人ひとたちが立たって、拍手はくしゅをしていました
