Austria to cap electricity prices
オーストリア政府は７日、ロシアによるウクライナ侵攻などの影響を受けたエネルギー価格の上昇に対処するため、１２月から電気料金に上限を設定する計画を発表しました
The Austrian government has announced plans to cap electricity prices from December to deal with rising energy prices caused by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
上限価格は家庭の平均消費量の約８０％に有効で、価格の上昇を大きく抑えることができるとしています
The ceiling price is effective for about 80% of the average household consumption, and it is said that the price increase can be greatly suppressed.
Market price must be paid for the amount exceeding 2900 kWh
Austrian Chancellor Nehammer said it would also be an incentive to reduce electricity consumption.
電気料金の凍結は１２月１日に始まり、２０２４年６月３０日まで継続する見通しです
The electricity price freeze started on December 1st and is expected to continue until June 30th, 2024.
