Ancient giant rhino ”Near horn beast” discovers new fossils, the largest terrestrial mammal

The Chinese Academy of Sciences revealed on the 18th that a team of paleontologists working in the country has discovered a new fossil of the giant rhino ”Near horn beast”.
The scientific name of the new species is ”Near horn beast”
Named by the US-China joint team led by Mr. Chung, the Institute of Vertebrate Animal Paleoanthropology, Chinese Academy of Sciences
The fossil was found in the Linxia basin in Gansu Province, northwestern China, and as a result of genetic analysis, it was found to be a new species of near horn beast.
According to Mr. Chung, the weight of the parakeraterium is 24 tons, which is equivalent to 6 elephants.
The height of the shoulder is about 4.9 meters, the height of the head is about 7 meters, and the total length has reached about 7.9 meters.
Parakeraterium lived in China, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, and a small number in Eastern Europe.
