The largest number of foreign students working in Japan after graduation
留学して日本の大学や専門学校を卒業したあと、日本で働く外国人が増えています
After studying abroad and graduating from a Japanese university or vocational school, more foreigners are working in Japan.
According to the National Immigration Control Office, there were 25,942 foreigners who changed their qualifications to live in Japan from “study abroad” to “work” last year.
More than 3,500 people since 2017, the most so far
93% of these were qualified to work as interpreters and computer engineers
In the country, China had the largest number, about 10,900, next in Vietnam, about 5,200, and next in Nepal, about 2,900.

“The number of foreign students is increasing, so there are more people working in Japan after graduation.”
I think that the reason is that, together with other government offices, there is a place where international students can consult and that they hold briefing sessions at school.
