Prices of popular drinks such as Mitsuya Cider to increase
アサヒ飲料は5月1日の出荷分から「三ツ矢サイダー」や「カルピスウォーター」の大型ペットボトルなど42品目を値上げすると発表しました
Asahi Soft Drinks has announced that it will raise the prices of 42 items, including large plastic bottles of ”Mitsuya Cider” and ”Calpis Water”, starting from May 1st.
The suggested retail price for a 1.5 liter plastic bottle of Mitsuya Cider will go from 400 yen to 421 yen, and a 1.5 liter plastic bottle of ”Calpis Water” will go from 410 yen to 432 yen.
Regarding the reason for the price increase, Asahi Soft Drinks stated, ``Due to the current situation where it is difficult to absorb cost increases such as raw material prices and logistics costs through corporate efforts alone, we have had no choice but to revise the prices of some products.’’
