Tanokyuu
むかしむかし、『たのきゅう』という旅芝居の役者がおりました
Once upon a time, there was an actor who performed in a traveling play called ``Tanokyu.``
ところがある時、母親が病気になったので、たのきゅうは急いで故郷に帰ることになりました
One day, however, his mother became ill, so Tanokyu had to hurry back to his hometown.
On the way, he heard a story at a teahouse at the foot of the mountain that ``bugs come out on the mountain at night and eat humans,`` but he didn`t care and kept walking.
暗い月影、寂しい山道

Tanokyu was nervous as he walked along the mountain path at night, when a suspicious giant appeared.
The big man asked me who I was, and when I answered, Ta-ta-tanokyu...
たのきゅうは大男を後ろ向きにさせ、その隙に芝居の道具を使って女に変装しました
Tanokyu made the giant man turn around and used the opportunity to disguise himself as a woman using theatrical tools.
As expected, Kyuu was an actor.
The giant man was completely delighted to see Tanokyu disguised as a woman and said, ``Actually, I`m also a disguised woman.``
たのきゅうは震えあがり、気を紛らわすために思わず煙草に手を伸ばしました
たのきゅうは、早速この話を麓の村の人達に教えてやりました
怒ったウワバミは最後の力を振り絞り、たのきゅうの家までやってきました
