FIFA has confirmed the death of a migrant worker at a resort used by the Saudi Arabian national team as a training base during the group stage of the World Cup in Qatar.
ＦＩＦＡの広報担当はＣＮＮに声明で、「ＦＩＦＡはこの悲劇に深い深しみを覚えている
A FIFA spokesperson told CNN in a statement: ”FIFA is deeply moved by this tragedy.
Our thoughts and condolences go out to the workers’ families.”
さらに「ＦＩＦＡはこの件を認識してすぐ、より詳しい情報を求めて地元当局に問い合わせた」とした上で、関連する手続きの完了後にコメントする方針を明らかにしました
”As soon as FIFA became aware of the matter, it contacted the local authorities for further information,” it said, adding that it would comment after the relevant formalities were completed.
