This timing was consistent with reports of system failures that occurred in Akamai and Oracle, which provide Internet infrastructure services.
Edge DNS provided by Akamai is a service that allows you to connect to the target website with a web browser, and also serves as a security measure.
In the subsequent explanation, Akamai stated that the cause of the failure was ”a problem occurred in the DNS system due to the update of the software settings”, and explained that the failure lasted ”up to 1 hour”.
