Cosplayers cooperate with local governments around Chita Peninsula to reduce marine debris
名古屋市東区の「オアシス21」特設ステージで開催中の「世界コスプレサミット2021」で8日、知多半島の5市5町の代表者らが、コスプレイヤーと共に海洋ごみの削減に取り組む「コスプレde海ごみゼロ解放区」の開始を宣言しました
On the 8th, at the ”World Cosplay Summit 2021” being held at the special stage of ”Oasis 21” in Higashi Ward, Nagoya City, representatives from 5 cities and 5 towns on the Chita Peninsula held a ”Cosplay de Umi” initiative to reduce marine litter together with cosplayers. We have announced the start of the Zero Garbage Open Zone.
In this project, 10 cities and towns will establish ”Cosplay Open Zones” where people can casually enjoy cosplay at beaches and local facilities, and will hold cleanup events in collaboration with cosplayers, aiming to create a beautiful shooting environment and revitalize the region.
After the ceremony, cosplayers immediately picked up trash around the venue and called for trash reduction.
