Excavation of 9 fossils of the mysterious ”extinct human” Neanderthal Italy

The Italian Ministry of Cultural Properties says that nine fossils were excavated, eight of which were 50,000 to 68,000 years old and the remaining one was 90,000 to 100,000 years old.
It also means that there were traces of hyena bites on the bones.
Neanderthals are thought to have become extinct 20,000 to 30,000 years ago, and recent studies have shown that the gene is also contaminated with Homo sapiens, but where they live and why they are extinct. Most are mysterious
Two fossils have been found in this cave before, and the excavation leader emphasizes the significance of the discovery, saying, ”It shows that there were many Neanderthals in this area.”
