36 detained Japanese people in Manila

Philippine authorities detained 36 Japanese men who seemed to be involved in special fraud at a hotel in Makati City near Manila in the afternoon of the 13th
The men were then transferred to an immigration facility in Manila.
According to the person concerned, the men were a special fraud group who made fraud calls from the Philippines to elderly people living in Japan, and the damage amounted to about 2 billion yen.
Philippine authorities will work with the Japanese police in the future to clarify the situation
