Truck driver arrested after 6 casualty road traffic accident.
26日午前9時ごろ、静岡県富士宮市の西富士道路下りで4トントラックが普通乗用車などに追突し、合わせて6台が絡む事故がありました
A 6 vehicle pile-up occurred at 9am on the 26th on the West Fuji Road in Fujinomiya, Shizuoka when a 4 tonne truck rear ended passenger cars.
The trucks loading platform caught fire, which took around an hour to extinguish.
According to police and the fire service, one person died and 5 were injured.
2 of the injured passengers required helicopter transport to hospital.
This afternoon, police have arrested the 66 year old truck driver on suspicion of causing accidental death by driving.
