Government ”Please save electricity from December 1st”
From December 1st to March 31st next year, the government is asking people to reduce the amount of electricity they use in their homes and businesses.
This is because if it gets very cold from now on, there is a worry that the electricity will run out.
Russia’s attack on Ukraine could make it difficult to import the fuel needed to generate electricity.
The government is asking you to wear warm clothes, lower the temperature of the heater, and turn off the lights and computers in rooms you are not using.
I haven’t decided how much I want to use less electricity, so I’m asking you to save electricity without overdoing it.
