World population will increase by approximately 1% in 2023, growth rate is slowing down

The U.S. Census Bureau estimates the world’s population as of January 1 to be 8,019,876,189 people.
This is an increase of about 1%, or 75,162,541 people, compared to one year ago at the beginning of 2023, but the growth rate of the world’s population is slowing.
