Be careful of children getting burns from hair irons National Consumer Affairs Center of Japan
熱を利用して髪型を整えるために使う「ヘアアイロン」を巡り、2019年度以降、43件の事故情報が寄せられています
Since fiscal 2019, 43 accidents have been reported regarding hair irons, which are used to style hair using heat.
Approximately 70% of these children are between 0 and 2 years old, and there have been reports of burns caused by touching items used by their parents or by pulling the cord and causing the items to fall.
The National Consumer Affairs Center of Japan urges people to place it in a place where children cannot get close to it.
