72 people have died so far in clashes with the police.
In South Africa, protests by supporters have been held in various places since the 7th when former President Zuma was imprisoned for contempt of court, however some of them have become mobs and confusion has spread.
On the 13th, large-scale looting occurred in shopping malls around the country including Johannesburg, the largest city, and Durban in the south, where crowds and police clashed, killing 72 people so far.
The government has decided to dispatch troops in support of the police, but the turmoil has not yet subsided.
