Television listings are disappearing~America’s New York Times.

In The New York Times’ publication last month on the 31st, the TV programme guide which ran for 81 consecutive years from 1939, in other words the television guide publication, has been cancelled.
Already suspended across the rest of America, this time New York City’s version was the subject of the new policy change.
The New York Times explains it as a diversification of the viewing format and the like, saying, ”The TV guide just doesn’t reflect the way people watch TV.”
The same newspaper’s electronic version subscribers broke through the 4 million mark, whereas the paper publication’s approximate 800,000 readers continue to dwindle.
