Derby Lassom, who was forced to relocate with her husband Trendall, said that our home was completely destroyed, with the entire roof blown off.

Everything except what was in the basement of the house was almost destroyed, and they could only recover a few personal belongings.

The morning after the tornado occurred, a couple who owns a winery discovered wedding photos scattered on the lawn of their front yard near Brazeau, Missouri, about 160 kilometers from Poplar Bluff.

They reached out on Facebook to see if anyone recognized the bride or bridesmaids in the photos.

Meanwhile, in Marble Hill, about 80 kilometers away from Poplar Bluff in the same state, another stranger found wedding photos in a field and also posted them on Facebook.

The power of social media to unite local residents was quickly demonstrated

Within less than three hours of the post, people noticed some of the bridesmaids and began tagging them.

These photos, which capture irreplaceable and precious memories, are all tied to one place, Poplar Bluff.

This bride was indeed Mr. Derby.

The photo found in Breijo has already been mailed to Mr. Derby after a journey of about 160 kilometers through the air.
