The grammar pattern ～という is used to define or explain a certain noun.
昔、惣兵衛（そうべえ）という、それはそれは大変な粗忽者（そこつもの）がおりました。
The grammar pattern ～たり～たりする is used to list actions or states in no particular order.
例えば、朝起きるとカカァの足と頭を取り違えたり、水と間違えてみそ汁で顔を洗ったり、朝日と夕日を間違えて仕事からすぐに帰ってきたりと、いつもこんな調子でした。
The grammar pattern ～つもりで is used to express the intention to do something, but in reality, it turns out differently.
その格好は、笠のつもりで鍋をかぶり、脇差のつもりでスリコギを腰に差しているという奇妙なものでした。
The grammar pattern ～ところに describes an event occurring precisely at the moment another event is taking place.
腹が減っていたところに大福餅の出店があったので、店の人のスキをついて巨大な大福もちを持って駆け出すと、それは飾り物のセトモノでした。
The grammar pattern ～たら expresses an action that occurs after another action has been completed.
もうもう全てがカカァのせいだ、とすごい勢いで怒鳴りこんだら隣の家でした。
