On the 20th, there was an election to select the chairman of the IOC in Greece.
The new chairman has been decided to be Kirsty Coventry, a native of Zimbabwe, Africa.
Coventry is 41 years old.
She took part in the Olympics five times in the swimming field and won two gold medals.

It’s the first time a woman has become a chairman or someone from Africa has become a member of the African world.
The nine chairman so far were all males from Europe and America.
