A 23-year-old woman was arrested for abandoning the body of a newborn baby in a closet at her home condominium in Hino, Tokyo.
Chihiro Fukushima is suspected of hiding the body of a newborn baby boy in the closet of his apartment in Hino City on the 5th and abandoning it.
According to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, the mother living together found the body of the baby in a suitcase in the closet when she confirmed that there was a strange odor from Fukushima’s room.
The baby is believed to have died around last month due to the condition of the body.
Fukushima admitted that he had abandoned his baby in a suitcase.
The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the details of how the baby died.
