A man re-arrested for killing Indonesian student
前橋市のアパートでインドネシア人留学生の女性の遺体を遺棄したとして40歳の男が逮捕された事件で、警察は女性を乱暴したうえで殺害したなどの疑いで男を再逮捕しました
Police have arrested a 40-year-old man for abandoning the corpse of an Indonesian female student in an apartment located in Maebashi City on suspicion that he brutally assaulted and killed her.
In August 2023, an Indonesian female student, Joshi Putri Cahyani (23), was found dead in an apartment in Bunkyou-cho, Maebashi City. The suspect Keiichiro Kajimura (40), who lived in this apartment, was arrested on suspicion of abandoning a corpse.
A subsequent investigation revealed that suspect Kajimura was after violently assaulted, killed, and stealing her cash card in the room. On the 25th, the police re-arrested him for robbery and murder due to nonconsensual sexual intercourse.
Suspect Kajimura has denied previous investigations, saying he ”doesn’t remember” the charges of abandoning a corpse.
The police have not disclosed his affiliation with the charges of this arrest.
