At least seven people have died in Jiangxi province due to extremely strong winds that have been occurring since late last month, state-run Central Television (CCTV) reported on the 4th.
According to CCTV, more than 5,400 homes were damaged and 313,000 people were affected, of whom about 1,600 were forced to evacuate for their safety.
