Cooking oil J-Oil Mills and Showa Sangyo also raise prices for the fourth time this year
原料価格の高騰を受けて、家庭用の食用油が今年４度目の値上げです
In response to soaring raw material prices, household cooking oil has been raised for the fourth time this year.
J-Oil Mills and Showa Sangyo Co., Ltd. announced that they will raise the price of household cooking oil from the delivery on November 1st.
In both cases, the price increase is more than 30 yen per kilogram, which is the fourth price increase this year.
Because the prices of raw materials continue to rise, both companies will also raise the prices of cooking oil for commercial use and processing.
It means that it was decided that the rise in prices could not be absorbed by corporate efforts alone.
