AKB48 Yui Yokoyama graduating ”to take a step toward a dream”
12日に都内で行われたライブの終盤、横山さんは「私、横山由依はAKB48を卒業します」と発表
At the end of the live concert held in Tokyo on the 12th, Ms. Yokoyama announced that ”I, Yui Yokoyama will graduate from AKB48.”
The reason was revealed, ”I was able to see the dream I had envisioned for a long time, so I decided to take a step forward.”
The graduation performance is scheduled to be held at the AKB48 Theater on December 9th.
Mr. Yokoyama was a 9th gen member who joined in 2009, and in December 2015, he succeeded Mr. Minami Takahashi and became the second AKB48 group general manager.
Until March 2019, I worked for about three and a half years and took over to Mion Mukaichi.
