US house price index increased by 19.1% year-on-year in October, slowing down for 2 consecutive months

It turns out that the S & P Corelogic Case-Shiller Home Price Index, which indicates the level of home prices in the United States, recorded double-digit growth again in October.

Home prices in October were up 19.1% year-on-year, slightly below the adjusted 19.7% increase in September and slowing for the second straight month.
Still, October home price growth was the fourth highest in the last 34 years, with the top three in the three months before October (July, August and September).
