Hong Kong police arrest booing man for Chinese national anthem while watching the Olympics

Hong Kong officials revealed on the 30th that police arrested a 40-year-old man for booing the Chinese national anthem while watching the awards ceremony for the Tokyo Olympics at a shopping mall.
The man was suspected of ”insulting” the national anthem when he was watching the live stream of the awards ceremony on the 26th.
The video showed fencing player Cheung Ka Long winning the gold medal in Hong Kong for the first time in 25 years.
A man was arrested on suspicion of violating the national anthem ordinance that came into effect in June last year.
If you violate the ordinance, you may be sentenced to up to three years in prison.
According to police, it was also found that a man possessed 10 Hong Kong flags from the British colonial era.
