Due to the stagnant front, it rained intermittently in Shizuoka Prefecture, and in Atami City, where a large-scale debris flow occurred last month, it was found that part of the earth and sand remaining on the slope collapsed due to the rain.
Since unstable earth and sand remain on slopes, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism is calling for caution in downstream areas.
