Tick Tok sues U.S. government over presidential decree
トランプ米政権が中国発の動画アプリ「ＴｉｋＴｏｋ（ティックトック）」の締め出しを図った大統領令に対し、ティックトック側が２２日、法的措置を取ると表明しました
Trump announced that it will take legal action on the 22nd, in response to a presidential decree that the US administration has banned a video app ”TikTok” from China.
Ticktok said in a statement to CNN, ”We have no choice but to challenge the Presidential Decree through the judicial system to ensure that the rule of law is protected and that we and our users are treated fairly.”
Ticktok also worked to resolve security concerns raised by the U.S. government, but the Trump administration ignored the due process and attempted to interrupt negotiations between private companies regardless of the facts.
The Trump administration argued that the information of American users could be passed to the Chinese government through Tick Tok.
Has issued a presidential ban prohibiting transactions with U.S. companies unless the Chinese parent company sells its U.S. business
