特許庁は明治のチョコレート菓子「たけのこの里」の立体的な形状を商標登録しました。　
The Japan Patent Office trademarked the stereoscopic image of Meiji chocolate confectionery "Takenoko no Sato".
1979年に発売された「たけのこの里」は、2020年度に明治の菓子類のなかでは国内で初めて売り上げが首位になった人気商品です。　
Launched in 1979, "Takenoko no Sato" was the first popular confectionery product in Japan with the highest sales in 2020.
食品の立体的な形状が商標として認められるのは珍しいということで、他のメーカーは模倣品を作れなくなります。　
It is rare that a stereoscopic image of a food is recognized as a trademark, so other manufacturers will not be able to counterfeit products.
明治は「この形状だからこそ認知度を高められたので商標登録をした」と説明していて、今後、海外販売の拡大などに生かしたい考えです。　
"With this shape, awareness will also be able to be enhanced, so we have trademarked it," explains Meiji, "they want to use it to expand overseas sales in the future."
明治は2018年3月に「きのこの山」も商標登録しましたが、当時、「アジアできのこの山の類似品があった」ということです。
Meiji also trademarked "Kinoko no Yama" in March 2018, but at the time, "there was a product similar to Yama in Asia."
