消費者庁は「窓ガラスに塗るだけで室内のウイルスや花粉などを除去できる」などとうたった商品を販売していた企業に表示の取り止めなどの措置命令を出しました。
消費者庁によりますと、静岡市に本社がある「ゼンワールド」は製造・販売する「エアープロット」を窓ガラスに塗るだけで、
触媒の作用によって新型コロナを含むウイルスやカビなどを分解・除去し、室内の空気を浄化する効果が得られるかのような表示を行っていました。
消費者庁が「空間を浄化する」という根拠を示す資料を求めたところ、合理的なものは提出されなかったということです。
消費者庁はゼンワールドに対し、こうした表示の取り止めや再発防止策を講じるよう命じました。
これに対し、ゼンワールドは「指示に従う」とコメントしています。
