上皇ご夫妻が、4年ぶりの地方訪問となる私的な旅行で東京から京都へ出発されました。
仙洞御所から東京駅に到着された上皇ご夫妻は、午前11時ごろ、京都駅へ向けて特別編成の新幹線に乗り込まれました。
今回は私的な旅行で、4泊5日の日程で京都府と奈良県を訪問されます。
地方を訪れるのは、「代替わり」に伴う引っ越しで御用邸などに滞在されたのを除き、4年ぶりです。
上皇ご夫妻は15日午前、京都御苑で葵祭をご覧になり、午後には、皇室とゆかりの深い大聖寺を訪問されます。
ご夫妻は16日、奈良県に移動し、17日、中宮寺などを訪問して18日に東京へ戻られる予定です。
