海の日の由来、 やうちブラザーズに詳しく聞いちゃいます。
今日お話を伺う、 やうちブラザーズの皆さんです。- やうちブラザーズです。
やうちブラザーズとは、 歌や楽しいショーで、
海の町、 水俣を盛り上げている三人組。
実は、 地元の漁師なんです！
釣れた！ ゲットです。
ところで、 海の日はいつから始まったんですか？
ええ、 当時のですね、 明治天皇がですね、
青森、 北海道に巡幸に行かれまして、
そして、 ご無事に関東に帰って来られた日を記念して、
明治九年の七月二十日というのが記念日なんですね。
この大切な海を守るために、 私達に何かできることはありますか？
そうですね、 あの、 私達、 漁師もですね、
海の日にちなんでですね、 清掃活動やってますけども、
大事に、 ゴミを出さないようにしていただけると、
私達、 この海で育っている人達もですね、 ゴミが少なくなります。
そういった身近な環境を守ることが大事だと思います。
綺麗な海と水に恵まれた熊本水俣。
楽しいお喋りとフィッシングで過ごした海の日。

熊本市内から高速道路を使えば、 車でおよそ一時間四十分。
