毎年8月に行われ「関東三大七夕まつり」の一つに数えられる埼玉県狭山市の「入間川七夕まつり」。
The Irumagawa Tanabata Festival in Sayama City, Saitama Prefecture is held every August and is considered one of the three major Tanabata Festivals in Kanto.
祭りのクライマックスには、およそ5000発の花火が夜空に打ち上がります。　
At the peak of the festival, about 5,000 fireworks are launched into the night sky.
打ち上げ花火はコロナ禍の影響で中止が続いていましたが、去年、4年ぶりに復活。
Fireworks were canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, but they returned last year for the first time in four years.
しかし、今年は再び中止されることになりました。

来場者が急増して安全の確保が難しいうえ、花火の燃えカスが住宅の屋根などに落下することが問題視され、対策を講じる必要があると判断したといいます。
