台風7号の影響で一時、大雨特別警報が発表された鳥取県では、土砂崩れで約1800人が孤立した状態となっています。
一部地域では断水が続いています。
「現在、何十年かに一度の災害のタイミングに残念ながらなってしまいました。命を守る行動が今は大切です」
鳥取市によりますと、土砂崩れによって国道482号などが通行止めになり、佐治町などの22の集落で835世帯、1789人が孤立しているということです。
市内では、佐治川に架かる高山橋が崩落した影響で付近の水道管が破裂し、一部地域で断水が起きるなどの被害が出ています。
また、八頭町では民家の裏山が崩れたとの情報があります。
今のところ、人的被害は確認されていません。
