東京オリンピック・パラリンピックの選手村として使用された晴海で、マンションや小中学校などが整備されたことを記念して街開き式典が行われました。　
The town's opening ceremony was held in Harumi, which was used as the Olympic Village for the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games, to commemorate the construction of apartment complexes, elementary and middle schools as well as other facilities.
選手村の跡地には「晴海フラッグ」として21棟のマンションのほか、新設の小学校やショッピングモールなどの施設が整備されてきました。　
On the site of the former athletes' village, the “Harumi Flag” has been developed into 21 condominiums, as well as a new elementary school, a shopping mall, and other facilities. 　
今年1月には住民の入居も始まり、3月には地下パイプラインでの水素供給システムの整備なども進んだことから、今月26日に街開きを記念する式典が行われました。　
Residents began moving in in January of this year, and a ceremony was held on the 26th of this month to commemorate the opening of the town, which included the installation of a hydrogen supply system via an underground pipeline in March. 　
式典では、選手村の村長だった川淵三郎さんが「歴史のある街だということを子どもや孫に伝えていってほしい」とあいさつしました。　
At the ceremony, Saburo Kawabuchi, mayor of the athletes' village, said: "I hope you will pass on to your children and grandchildren that this is a town with a long history."
この街には新橋駅などから専用路線などを走るBRT（バス高速輸送システム）と呼ばれるバスが通っているほか、2040年代をめどに臨海地下鉄の駅もできる予定です。
The city is served by buses called BRT (Bus Rapid Transit System), which run on dedicated routes from Shinbashi Station and elsewhere, at the same time, a riverside subway station is also planned to be built in the 2040s.
