天皇皇后両陛下の長女・愛子さまが日本赤十字社に入社し、抱負を述べられました。
Princess Aiko, the eldest daughter of the Emperor and Empress, joined the Japanese Red Cross and expressed her wish.
「社会人としての一歩を踏み出したのだと身の引き締まる思いがいたしました。両親には『頑張って行ってらっしゃい』という励ましの言葉とともに送り出していただきました。

これから社会人としての日々が始まりますが早く職場になじみ、皆さまのお役に立てますよう頑張ってまいりたいと思っております」

愛子さまは午前9時半前、東京・港区の日本赤十字社で、本社に配属された新入社員とともに社長から配属の通知書を受け取られたということです。　
Just before 9:30 a.m. on the 1st, Princess Aiko was present at the Japanese Red Cross Society in Minato Ward, Tokyo, where she received an assignment notice from the company president along with newly appointed employees to the company's headquarters.
「嘱託職員」として勤務し、出勤は毎日ではなく日赤側とも調整をしながら皇族としての活動にも対応されていく予定です。
The Princess will work as a "temporary employee" and will not work on a daily basis, but will be able to coordinate with the Japanese Red Cross and respond to activities as a member of the Imperial Family.
