NTTドコモは70歳代のスマートフォンの所有率が76％に上り、特に西日本で急速に普及しているという調査結果を発表しました。　
NTT DOCOMO announced the results of a survey showing that 76% of people in their 70s own a smartphone, and that the use of smartphones is spreading rapidly, especially in western Japan.
NTTドコモのモバイル社会研究所によりますと、年代別のスマホ所有率は60代で92％に達し、70代も76％に伸びました。

70代の所有率を地域別で見ると、近畿と東海が82％で最も高く、関東が79％で続き、最も低い北海道と東北は65％となっています。　
Looking at ownership rates by region, the Kinki and Tokai regions have the highest ownership rates in the 70s at 82%, followed by Kanto at 79%, and Hokkaido and Tohoku have the lowest rates at 65%.
特に特別区や政令指定都市など、人口の多い地域で所有率が高いとしています。

また、ここ2年未満でスマホを所有した70代の割合は近畿や中国・四国などで20％を超え、西日本で急速に普及が進んでいるということです。
