問題の端末は中国の「CHUWI」社製で、おととし県立高校などで合わせて1万5000人の生徒に対して配布されました。

しかし、バッテリーの膨張などによる不具合が相次いで報告され、3500台以上が故障しています。

現在、学校では1台の端末を複数の生徒で使用したり、個人のスマートフォンを使ったりして対応しているということです。
