円安によるエネルギー価格の高騰や物価高が続くなか、政府はガソリンなどへの補助金を4月末の期限からさらに延長する方針を固めました。　
As energy and commodity prices continue to rise due to a weak yen, the government has decided to extend subsidies on gasoline and other goods beyond the end of April.
政府関係者によりますと、ガソリンや灯油など燃料油の価格を抑えるための補助金について、4月末までの期限を延長し、5月以降も継続する方針です。　
According to government officials, the subsidy period aimed at reducing the prices of fuel oils such as gasoline and kerosene will be extended until the end of April, and will last until May and beyond.
延長幅は数カ月程度で調整されていて、補助率を縮小しないことも検討しています。　
The grace period is being adjusted for several months and they are also considering not reducing the subsidy rate.
物価高や円安に加え、中東情勢の不安定化による原油価格の高騰を踏まえた判断だということです。　
This decision was made in the context of high prices, weak yen and rising crude oil prices due to instability in the Middle East.
今日夕方、岸田総理大臣が会見で表明する見通しです。
